  • Restoring

    The Tithe Barn

    The Tithe Barn is a 15th-century grade 2 star listed building inside the boundaries of Bolton Abbey Priory. It is the only surviving building of its kind in the local area, meaning the ground is part of a scheduled ancient monument.

    Lion Construction were tasked with transforming this piece of history into a beautiful wedding venue, maintaining a rustic feel and providing plenty of character.

  • Re-Design

    Moor Edge

    This privately owned property situated on the edge of the famous Ilkley Moor needed a new lease of life when the new occupiers moved in.

    Lion Construction worked closely with the client and Principal Designers to create a large kitchen living space emphasised by the extravagant use of glass to open up the already spacious kitchen/living area out into the breathtaking landscaped gardens.

  • Bolton Bridge

    Cottages

    As the river Wharfe is one of the fastest rivers to rise in the UK, the cottages are prone to flooding on a regular basis – this always causes severe damage and disruption.

    After a particularly bad flood, our initial involvement was to clear, clean and repair the flood-damaged interiors of the cottages and to protect the cottages by minimising future flood damage with flood prevention systems.
